The House:
Located in a beautiful, convenient and safe neighbourhood in Comox, two blocks away from Highland Secondary and walking distance from shopping, transit, gas, restaurants, pharmacies, etc.
Updated suite with all newer appliances.
Heated tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom. Ceiling fan with remote. Beautiful sunset views of the fields across the street. Your private entrance to the house is off of the back deck/kitchen and a separate private entrance to the laundry room is downstairs. Laundry can be done at your leisure or on a schedule if you prefer. There is a security system/cameras surrounding the entire property by Telus home security as well as water and fire emergency sensors.
The Property:
The yard is large and has and lots of room to garden (if you want) and fruit trees/bushes to enjoy. I have a landscaper that does the basic maintenance as I don’t have the equipment, but tenants are welcome/encouraged to utilize and help in the yard as much as possible.
There are 2 parking spaces available in the driveway and more along the street. There is also space for a boat or camper if needed.
There is a quiet trail leading to Salish Park from the backyard, which has a pond, playground, Brooklyn Creek and walking trails.
Storage:
Half of the locked shed in the backyard, under the back deck, the attic above your suite and if you were still in need of more storage, I do have a heated spare room downstairs that is 8x9x10 ft and can be used as a storage room for an extra $150/month if needed.
Pets:
Cats are allowed with a half month rent as a pet deposit. Cats can be indoor or indoor/outdoor as there is already a cat door installed in the suite onto the deck. There is also a catio that’s built under the deck that can be used if you like as I no longer use it.
No dogs, sorry- I have had many unpleasant experiences whenever I’ve made an exception for a specific type of dog.
Other types of pets will be considered (on a case by case basis with appropriate pet deposits)
About Me:
I am Jessy, 40yrs old, on PWD, I love foraging, beachcombing, collecting rocks, live music, being in nature, travelling, volunteering and community events. I live in the lower suite by myself, with my 2 affectionate indoor Persian cats.
I have 2 daughters (14&18) who do not currently reside with me. I keep my 2 extra rooms in my downstairs suite available for them just in case they need come back sometime.
I have owned this home for around 10 years and have been renting out the upper floor for about 8 years.
I do my best to accommodate the needs of my tenants in a timely and professional manner and have things fixed immediately as they arise. Having good communication and a sense of peace between my tenants and I is very important to me. I am committed to being fair, compassionate, friendly and available to my tenants.
