My grandmother bought this in 1940 from an antique dealer in New Westminster. Both the chair and the upholstery are in great shape. I'm guessing this is late 1800's/ early 1900's but don't know for sure. Likely English or North American parlour chair that wasn't mass produced. It has a solid hardwood frame, cabriole legs with pad feet, scrolled arms and traditional joinery.
It is very sturdy and in good shape.
A quality antique piece with excellent bones.
Perfect for a living room, reading nook, bedroom, or design project.
