First published as The Magic Bedknob (1944) and Bonfires and Broomsticks (1947) and combined into one as Bedknob and Broomstick (1957). The combined volume's title varies among the different editions, with Bedknob sometimes hyphenated and with both words occasionally plural (presumably influenced by the spelling of the 1971 Disney film Bedknobs and Broomsticks). This Vancouver Sun edition has Bed-knob and Broomstick on the dust jacket and cover and Bedknobs and Broomsticks on the title page.
