For sale: a 1973 San Juan 24’ Sailboat - "Hagar", a beloved classic ready for new adventures. This vessel is perfectly suited for both club racing and cozy, comfortable gunk holing. With its 8’ beam, it's easy to transport, while its 4’ draft lets you access anchorages larger boats can't reach.

Hagar comes with an impressive sail inventory, and she’s rigged for racing with a 2 track foil on the forestay:
* Main Sail (Dacron)
* Cruising Headsails: #1, #2, #3 (Dacron)
* Racing Headsails (#1, #3)
* #1 North Sail 3DL (carbon fiber/mylar laminate)
* Spinnakers x 3
* Drifter
* Stays’l x2
* Genniker

Under the deck, the boat can sleep four (two in the v-berth, one in the settee (or two junior sailors), and one in the quarter berth). The cushions have been stored dry over winters to maintain their condition.

For power, a 2020 Tohatsu 6hp sailpro 4 stroke outboard engine with very low hours is included. An 8’ fibreglass dinghy that tows nicely is also included with the boat.

* Equipment:
* Head (no holding tank)
* Galley Sink
* Ground tackle
* Primary Danforth Anchor, with 10’ chain and 200’ rope rode
* Secondary Danforth Anchor, with 150’ rope rode
* 2 track foil on forestay
* Safety equipment (flares have expired, and need replacing)
* Engine:
* 2020 Tohatsu 6hp sailpro 4 stroke outboard (very low hours)
* Electronics:
* New 12-volt battery
* VHF radio with DSC
* Digital fish finder/depth sounder

While she needs some TLC, with a clean hull and fresh bottom paint, Hagar will be more than ready to set sail. In addition to needing bottom paint, the starboard window leaks and the forward hatch needs resealing. But don't let that deter you; this classic has lots of life left and is ready to be loved by a new owner.
