Loft was extended 3' inside and fits a queen size bed with a removable railing. The wood has been finished inside and outside with semi-transparent wood stain. It is insulated with 1 1/2" Durospan (styrofoam insulation ), on the floor, and 3/4" Durospan in the ceiling, and is currently heated with a diesel heater.
There is no bathroom or outhouse in it. No permanent electrical or plumbing. We were planning on installing a small kitchenette, but never did. Also planned to build a full bathroom onto the back or side. Slegg sells similar buildings that could easily add more living space. Really, it's a blank slate, with most of the hard work done already.
The whole structure is assembled on a 2x6 subframe.
It will need to be moved at the buyer's expense. I have spoke to a company and worked out a plan to move it for between $1500-4000 give or take within the Comox Valley. It's currently located in Cumberland.
Very charming home and stays relatively warm in the winter!
The kitchenette, (sink stove and fridge) was never used for an extra $2000 alone or $1500 with the bunkie.
