Hello, my name is Gretchen. I am a midlife lady of many skills and talents. I have a long work history of Caregiving, Caretaking, Nursing ( everything from ER to Footcare to Physio & OT assist to Long Term Care and beyond,,, ). I've been a small business owner, a home flipper, director for a charity and a all around community connected person.
I am also a Mom , Death Doula, Homemaker, Incredible Cook, Gardener, Baker and all around ‘Handy- woman’.
I am putting a unique idea/opportunity out there- with hopes of making a strong connection with the right person/persons who may need extra help maintaining a fully functioning and wonderful home life.
I pride myself on keeping a lovely & loving home, always providing the highest standards of care with much thought into what I do and how it is done.
I am a thoughtful caregiver that is fun and joyful. I am happy to be a listening ear and have been told that I make for a great companion. I tend to know what is needed before ever being asked.
Delighted to offer all levels of personalized care. I am also happy to run errands, buy groceries, pick up prescriptions, driving, cooking, baking, keeping up the house and yard maintenance. I am also open to small home renovations.
I connect on a soulful level and take great pride in my ability to share and show love.
This offer would need to be just right as I come with a family. My two kids are quiet and respectful teenagers that are with me most of the time. My pets are top- notch critters who are full of love and cuddles.
I am open to creative conversations around what this might look like for you and yours.
Ideally, your home/property would have plenty of room for each of us to have some space and privacy. This would include three bedrooms and a bathroom, and a garage space for my extra totes and my seasonally driven classic truck!
You would welcome a loving, happy and healthy family to move in with you or into your secondary dwelling. I would provide all of the work, energy, care and love that is needed to keep you home and thriving.
I am able to commit to two years or more if the situation and environment is positive and works for everyone.
I have rented a home in the Valley View area for the last seven years. The owner has decided to put the house on the market and I have decided that a caregiving or caretaking relationship would be something I would be open to with the right connection.
Depending on the expectations, I am open to a partial rent payment in addition to other time and energy commitments. Given the right situation, I would be happy to connect, discuss and create a contract that works for each of us.
